Guzman OpenHouse 2.13.25CHICAGO — After recently being sworn into office, State Senator Graciela Guzmán is hosting an open house at her district office to meet her and her staff.

“Transparency and collaboration with members of the community on the legislative process is one of my top priorities as a state senator,” said Guzmán (D-Chicago). “This open house will give folks the chance to meet me face-to-face and learn more about what I’m working on in Springfield, while also leaving space to hear their ideas for legislation to address the issues that impact them the most.”

The open house will be held at Guzmán’s district office, located at 3140 W. Montrose Ave. on Thursday, Feb. 13 from 12-7 p.m.

Attendees will have the opportunity to speak with the senator and her team about their ideas for future legislative policies, or share problems they are currently facing that could be improved with the senator’s work. They will also get the chance to learn about the services the district office can provide, including assistance in work with state agencies, and enjoy light refreshments.

“For many working people, it can be extremely difficult to find the time to parse through confusing state bureaucratic red tape to access services that can help them,” said Guzmán. “My office is here to help cut that red tape, and ensure our community members can access the state programs available to them.”

For questions on the event or other concerns, people can connect with Guzmán’s district office by calling 773-278-2020, or by texting 773-207-7838.
